Testimonials About Our Veteran’s Charity

I cannot thank you enough for the terrific fishing adventures that you took me on Feb 9th and 14th, 2017 with the fishingwithwarriors.us.
My thanks to the fishingwithwarriors.us for the terrific opportunities afforded to all of our veterans.
God bless you and the fishingwithwarriors organization. What a wonderful difference you're making in the lives of veterans.
Since I've been back home in Michigan I've been playing "catch-up" with everything at work. Plus, we've had several severe winter storms; one resulting in loss of electricity for 3 days.
Looking forward to seeing you next year.

Fishing with Warriors is without a doubt first class. Al and his team recently sent me on a trip of a lifetime.

Tarpon fishing in Costa Rica!!

From the Flights and lodging, to the food and fishing, start to finish Al made everything easy for me and my new friends. We just relaxed and had a great time.

If you are a veteran and someone from Fishing with Warriors asks if you would like to go on a fishing trip, do yourself a favor and say yes. You won't regret it.

Fishing with Warriors provided me with a once in a lifetime opportunity.

I truly can't express my thanks and gratitude for all their generosity in making an incredible fishing trip happen. Everything from the flight, transportation and lodging was taken care of.

It was great to connect with other veterans, talk about shared experiences and have a great time fishing. The staff at the Silver King Lodge was the truly the best.

Thank you again for offering me such a great trip and making some good friends.

I never considered myself a “fisherman” because I’ve never really done too much fishing in my life. Sure, I’ve casted my share of lines in lakes and even went deep sea fishing once when I was stationed in Hawaii, but it was never anything that I went out of my way to do very often.

‘Fishing with Warriors’ made me realize something very important about fishing…it’s not just about the fish! I cannot begin to explain how much going on this fishing trip meant to me…it was more than fun…it was a LIFE EXPERIENCE! Any Veteran will tell you one of the things they miss the most about their time in the service is the comradery and brotherhood (sisterhood) they had while they were in. ‘Fishing with Warriors’ realizes that and couples it with a fishing excursion that you will never forget. Going out on the water with your fellow Veterans could quite possibly be the most enjoyable, adrenaline-rushed, relaxing, and hilarious form of therapy anyone will ever receive!

Our group bonded within the first few hours of the trip and as each day went by, we became brothers…in only 5 days! I want to thank Al Lizotte, ‘Fishing with Warriors’, and the Silver King Lodge for allowing me the opportunity to not only get that feeling of comradery back, but to make it an adventure that I will cherish for the rest of my life!

I was incredibly lucky to be offered the once in a lifetime Fishing For Warriors experience to Costa Rica in September 2017.

This quite honestly was one of the bests trips of my entire life, and certainly one that I will never forget From pre-trip details, airline flights, lodging, meetings, relaxation, fishing, comradery, experience sharing and so much more, nothing was overlooked.

FWW absolutely hit the nail on the head in delivering the perfect setting to allow any veteran the opportunity to reach out, feel truly thanked and rewarded for their service.

This trip has strengthened my bond with other veterans, and I look forward to participating in future fundraisers to allow other veterans the same amazing opportunity I experienced.

Fishing with warriors helped my dream come true. Because of this wonderful organization I had an amazing opportunity to fish 13 miles east of the city of Belize in 1 1/2 feet of water. I am grateful to this organization for supporting the vets and plan to continue to support Fishing with Warriors so that others can experience the best fishing of their lifetime.

My recent trip with Fishing With Warriors was an experience I won't soon forget. Al Lizotte did a fantastic job planning this; from flights, transfers, and accommodations to getting us the best boat captain in Venise, Louisiana. Capt. Chris Wilson of Rivers End Outfitters went above and beyond to put us on good fishing all 3 days. The 1st day netted us about 70 fish. We caught Speckled Sea Trout and Triple Tail ( what a fight). The accommodations were spacious, spotless and stocked. The weather could not have been better. I recommend this opportunity to go with Al Lizotte on a FISHING WITH WARRIORS excursion should they have the chance.

I was very fortunate to attend the great week long fishing trip with Fishing With Warriors to Costa Rica last year. It was a most wonderful experience and the first time that I had participated in an event like this along with other military veterans. Also, the fishing lodges staff were very friendly and the meals outstanding! Of course, the fishing was first class and a fantastic time was had by all. Yours truly.

Our amazing Warriors Fishing Adventures are a small way to show our appreciation and let them know personally we have not forgotten them. Our Adventures allows Vets to Connect with other Vets as well as connect to the calm and inspiration of the great outdoors. We know how hard the transition to “normal life” is, but we believe that our nature driven adventures lift the spirits of our Veterans and gives them something to carry home that last a lifetime.
