For many veterans, life after service can be overwhelming. The transition back to civilian life often comes with physical, emotional, and psychological challenges. At Fishing With Warriors, we know that time spent in nature can have a healing effect. Fishing offers peace, solitude, and the chance to form meaningful connections with fellow veterans who understand the unique experiences of military life.
Our non-profit is dedicated to taking veterans on once-in-a-lifetime fishing trips to Costa Rica every year. On these trips, veterans don’t have to worry about a thing. From flights and lodging to food and world-class fishing expeditions, everything is fully covered. We ensure that veterans can focus on the joy of the experience without any stress.
But it’s not just about catching fish—it’s about reconnecting with themselves and others who share similar stories. These trips allow veterans to find camaraderie, joy, and healing in a serene environment away from the demands of everyday life.
While our annual trip to Costa Rica is a centerpiece of our mission, Fishing With Warriors offers ongoing opportunities for veterans throughout the year. We host local fishing events and feature veterans on our TV show, Army Redfish, where they get to share their stories while enjoying time on the water. Whether it’s a day out on a peaceful lake or a high-adrenaline deep-sea fishing adventure, each outing is a chance to show our gratitude and support for those who have served.

Our amazing Warriors Fishing Adventures are a small way to show our appreciation and let them know personally we have not forgotten them. Our Adventures allows Vets to Connect with other Vets as well as connect to the calm and inspiration of the great outdoors. We know how hard the transition to “normal life” is, but we believe that our nature driven adventures lift the spirits of our Veterans and gives them something to carry home that last a lifetime.
